XTD-120 TETHER DRONE SYSTEM
The XM2 manufactured XTD-120 is an Australian made X8 heavy-lift drone, purpose built for simplified tethered operation in the telecommunications industry.
Powered with the EON800, the XTD-120 includes fly-by-wire flight control, which allows the drone to be securely deployed with up to 28 pounds payload, and with a maximum flight altitude of 120m/400ft.
Ideal for deploying remote telecommunication for disaster response, private LTE and public safety, the XTD-120 has one-button operation for launch, command and land.

Designed to be modular, each component of the EON800 Tether System has been optimized for integration.
Expanding the capabilities of the Freefly Systems Alta X, the EON800-AX tether system from XM2 supplies Freefly Systems Alta X with infinite flight time and eight fiber optic cores. This creates vast potential and opportunity within the telecommunication, live broadcast, surveillance, public safety, emergency response and defense industries to name a few.
Approved under the Green sUAS 2.0 program, and custom configured to support a variety of mission requirements and built around an open architecture; the Freefly Systems Alta X accommodates a variety of integrated sensors and third-party payloads. Continuous tethered flight with truly massive payloads is something that until now, has not been possible.
The EON800 Tether System is Compatible With a Range of Heavy Lift Drone Platforms, Including Freefly Systems ALTA X.
The EON800’s Tether Ground Station provides the drone with infinite flight time, supplying up to 4500W of power to the UAS and a myriad of payload combinations.
The Tether Ground Station is rack-able, allowing the unit to be mounted within vehicles, portable rack cases and any structures with mounting rails.
Eight fibre-optic cores and two conductors are embedded within the provided Tether Cable, transferring power and secure data from the ground to the drone and payloads.
The UAV Tether Cable is has 8 fiber optic cores embedded and is available in two altitude lengths: 60m/200ft and 120m/400ft.
Custom tether cable lengths are also available.

With tool-less integration to the UAV, this Alta X Tether system provides the worlds toughest heavy lift drone with infinite flight time and eight fiber optic cores, for secure multi-payload connectivity.
Tether Ground Station | EON800
The EON800 Tether Ground Station provides the drone with infinite flight time, supplying up to 4500W of power to the UAS and a myriad of payload combinations.
The Tether Ground Station is rack-able, allowing the unit to be mounted within vehicles, portable rack cases and any structures with mounting rails. MAVlink Connectivity between the Drone and the Tether Ground Station provides secure, wired control of the UAV.

Eight fiber-optic cores and two conductors are embedded within the provided XM2 UAS Tether Cable.
One fiber is dedicated to command and control of the aircraft and seven separate dedicated payload fibers are available for payload communication.
The Tether Cable is manually managed, and available in two altitude lengths: 60m/200ft and 120m/400ft. Custom lengths are also available.
